My Story
Dear SportsAid Thank you for entrusting me with this SportsAid award. I know it will help boost my swimming career. I really appreciate all the hard work that happened to help secure the funding and I can’t stress enough how useful this will be, especially with some big competitions coming up like British Summer Championships and English Nationals. I am proud of my achievements this season which have included a Bronze medal at English Nationals in the 100m Breaststroke. I also made the final in the Men’s 100m Breaststroke at the British International Para-Swimming Meet. Most recently, I gained a silver medal in the 100m Breaststroke at the Junior Para Swimming Nationals. I was thrilled receive an invite to compete at British Championships this year in the 100m Breaststroke and the 200m Individual Medley. I have already used this to help me purchase some equipment like a new dry robe and am also going to put some of it towards physiotherapy and competition costs. I am really thankful for this and, as such I would be willing to help SportsAid in any way I can. I am grateful for all the work you do and want to thank you for the award.
