A 150 strong crowd enjoyed this unique event where Greg Searle MBE presented a SportsAid grant to 17 year old Max Mustoo (rower), in front of alumni and Paralympic equestrian bronze medallist, Mari Duward-Akhurst.
The trio combined to create a wholesome celebration of sport at the venue Greg won his London 2012 bronze medal as a 40 year old!
Greg is a superb motivational speaker and his words resonated well with our sponsors and business crowd.
Marlow based Max, a member of Leander Club, was joined by Mari who received her grant from the charity back in 2017 from the late great Ray Wilkins.
Mari and her horse Athene Lindebjerg scored 77.75% in the grade I freestyle event, to win Paralympic bronze at the beautiful Palace of Versailles in Paris.
Congratulations to Mari on her Paralympic debut success and we wish a very confident and focused Max all the best for the future.
